Nutritional balance & specific nutrition: ROQUETTE releases the potential of plant-based solutions

Roquette and its food experts will present a selection of natural-origin functional and nutritional ingredients, together with innovative concepts.
Roquette will deliver clear solutions opening up new opportunities for formulators who wish to create a favourable nutritional balance in the profile of foods. Such opportunities will also be on offer to innovative developers of sports and weight management food products, as it will to those wishing to deliver products that support aging well.
Roquette’s stand design will be based on four themes in four corners that maximise clarity, immediacy and visitor satisfaction:

  • “Keep Fit” with for Sports nutrition solutions  
  • “Keep Young” for Ageing Well solutions.

In the Nutritional Balance solutions area, visitors will get access to a raft of different possibilities, including: > sugars replacers for baked goods that meet taste and texture expectations; > insoluble and soluble fibre synergies that offer optimum fibre enrichment; > a healthy lipid alternative called Almagine™ HL  whole algalin flour from Solazyme Roquette Nutritionals – this revolutionary “whole-food ingredient” will be represented by various prototypes, such as a brioche without butter and eggs, which delivers significant nutritional profile optimisation yet an uncompromised taste and/or mouthfeel.
Visitors looking for 100% vegetable, 100% pleasure - will be interested in a range of unique 100% plant-based-, cholesterol- and GMO-free desserts called “VegDelight” featuring NUTRALYS® vegetable proteins.
