It has been well over 50 years that Roquette has been deeply involved in nutrition’s role in health, especially as regards our customers and their consumers. Having pioneered research in numerous fields, such as dental hygiene and functional food, Roquette has put forward proposals supporting the facilitation of innovative nutritional and health products at a time where customers’ health expectations towards their food has evolved into a real passionate concern.

The methodical education for superior hygiene, along with a responsible attitude toward food, becomes of primary importance when faced with the rise of diseases in our modern societies. After the fight against tobacco addiction, it has become time to increase public awareness to the threats of being obese, or even somewhat overweight.

Preventing an overweight condition is initially accomplished through an education based on a few basic principles that our grandparents applied as a matter of course: ‘eat a bit of everything’, ‘consume quality meals’ and ‘move around some’.

These basic principles have of course been enhanced and strengthened by scientific data gleaned through clinical studies, statistics, and analyses…. Studies that have allowed Roquette to understand better everyone’s needs, while evaluating food properties.

Over the long run, one will individualise food diets, with recommendations for each person how best to protect one’s good health, or how live more comfortably with one’s disease. So one will go from ‘eat a bit of everything’ to ‘what to eat, how much and when’ for everyone.

Roquette contributes to this evolution by prioritizing its objectives:

  • dental hygiene,
  • balanced meals,
  • dietary foods leading to digestive comfort,
  • satiety,
  • and the fight against suffering or degenerative states.
