Roquette on all fronts of scientific events in June 2011!
Just coming back from the 18th European Congress on Obesity (ECO 2011), held in Istanbul (Turkey) from 25th to 28th May, with plenty of stimulating scientific information on new tracks to be explored in the context of obesity, the Nutrition team of Roquette will now be actively present during two major events happening very soon: NutrEvent in Lille (15-16 June, France) and Probiotech in Milan (23-24 June, Italy).
NutrEvent show
As members of the steering committee of NutrEvent from the early beginning, already in 2009, Roquette will first be present at this international event (15-16 June), “Where innovation and regulation meet nutrition”. As sponsors of the event, representatives of the Roquette Nutrition Innovations Programs and of the Nutrition Direction will also be present with a booth (N°128) dedicated to innovation. Mrs Saniez-Degrave, Nutrition Director of the group, will be a speaker in the track “Breakthroughs and Discoveries from the bench” and Catherine Lefranc-Millot, Corporate Scientific Communications Manager, will participate to the awarding of the price to the 3 elected scientific posters in the field of Nutrition and Health, in three different categories open to researchers of the academic sector.
Probiotech show
Just one week later (23-24 June 2011), you will still be able to find Roquette members in Milan (Italy), as a bronze sponsor at Probiotech 2011, another international event on Pre- and Probiotics. As for the previous editions, it will provide the “last updated information on the use (industrial applications, regulation) of these functional ingredients and will answer practical industrials’ issues by a series of scientific- & technological-oriented conferences on prebiotics and probiotics”. At this occasion, Catherine Lefranc-Millot will give a talk updating the results previously presented at another session of the event, on clinical trials conducted with NUTRIOSE® on weight management, satiety and metabolic parameters.
